Anti-twist Stabilizer

Anti-twist stabilizer is built to handle the intense twisting forces caused by explosive acceleration. We used foot
movement studies and pedaling visualizations to redesign the shoe’s structure to support more aggressive
acceleration.

Function-specific Zones

Reinforced mesh and Microfiber leather upper materials are arranged and layered in targeted performance zones to
maximize fit, flexibility, rigidity and breathability. It took equal parts science and art to complete this
engineering puzzle.

360° Surround Wrapping Upper

A first for a Shimano shoe, our new 360° surrounding upper wraps the foot in a supportive cocoon from the upper all
the way around the outsole.

Shimano Dynalast

Built based on feedback from pro riders, Shimano Dynalast helps reduce energy loss on long rides, letting you keep
more in the tank for that final sprint to the line.

SPD-SL

SPD-SL is a road pedal platform systematically engineered with SHIMANO footwear to transfer more power from your body
to your bike. For pro riders the extra-wide, low-profile cleat distributes energy more evenly over a wider surface
and transfers it more efficiently to the bike, under the most extreme pedaling loads.
