Hope Oval Retainer Ring

The Hope Oval Retainer Ring is designed for those running 1×10 or 1×11 setups. The narrow/wide tooth design stops the chain from jumping off, without the need for a chain device. Helps to keep your drivetrain simple and neat.

The oval design is something which is becoming more popular, and is already widely used in road riding. The idea behind the shape is that it evens out the delivery of power in each pedal stroke, maximising the output on the downstroke and reducing resistance on the upstroke. Helps when climbing.
