PIck your line and let it rip. From chunky alpine terrain to warp-speed park runs, this hard-charging 29er feasts on rugged terrain, giving you the confidence to charge harder.
Features
Race-bred suspension: Maestro rear suspension and a 170mm fork developed and tested in Enduro World Series races. The trunnion mount rear shock has a longer stroke and smoother feel, and an Advanced Forged Composite upper rocker arm adds stiffness while lowering overall frame weight.
Progressive enduro geometry: A strong and durable ALUUX SL aluminum frameset helps you ride aggressive descents and rail corners with confidence. Enduro-optimized head and seattube angles, plus a 170mm fork with 44mm offset, produce confident front-end handling.
29er confidence and control: Larger 29-inch diameter wheels roll over rugged enduro terrain with improved balance and stability, giving you the momentum to crank up tough climbs and the confidence to fly on fast, technical descents.
Technologies
- Advanced Forged Composite Technology: A state-of-the-art high-pressure moulding process is used to produce complex-shaped carbon fibre components that are lighter, stiffer and stronger than similar components made from aluminium. This technology is used in critical performance parts such as Maestro Suspension rocker links.
- Aluxx SL Aluminium Technology: This High-Performance level, state-of-the-art aluminium material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for high-performance ride quality.
- Maestro Suspension Technology: Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
- Over Drive: Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4″ lower and 1 1/8″ upper for road, 1 1/2″ lower and 1 1/8″ upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
- Tubeless System: Fewer flat tyres. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
